Is there anyone who read chapter 494 of InuYasha (the one for this week)??? I've read it here (http://adinuyasha.thebrokenconsole.com/TOC.html). I'm so exited!


Especially about page 16 (http://adinuyasha.thebrokenconsole.com/494/494pg16.html). If only Kagome's family didn't come home way too early. Great mood breaker though :p ... Would she had let him kiss her?

The first couple of volumes are not read the Japanese way i.e. right to left but our way i.e. left to right. Even the images are "wrong", like a mirror image. For example: InuYasha's having the arrow on his right side, not the left side. Or Kaede's eye patch is on the wrong eye. Even Sesshomaru's cut arm. But after that, they go back the Japanese way, the way we are used to read them anyway! :p

When will Kagome have her power back??? Now that Sango did kiss Miroku, would it take a kiss from InuYasha to releases Kagome from Magatsuhi's sealing powers?

And what will Sesshoumaru do when "Rin/Magatsuhi" attacks?


Maybe now they can restart the anime! :p I sure hope so!

Inuyasha is nearing it's end. It's kinda sad to see it go, but it's been going on for years. Hopefully Rumiko will give it a good ending, (Ranma 1/2 just ended.)

I love this manga, though there are things that trouble me a lot! Like... well, isn't Kagome Kikyo's reincarnation? So why is Kagome jealous of Kikyo and vice versa if in a way they're the same person? Yeah, 500 years apart, but the same person non the less?
Apart from that I just want to see how it ends, if Miroku survives or if his Kazaana kills him, what will happen to Sango? And if Kagome stays in ancient Japan or if she goes back to her time... How will they defeat Naraku? too many things to think about!

I am actually pleased with how it has ended so far, it's one of the few series I check consistently for weekly updates. I'm going to miss it...

It is bittersweet and a tad rushed but OK.

I have heard that they are in talks to revive the anime and put it in or near it's old slot on TV

I was surprised how quickly she wrapped it all up after how she stretched everything else out... but the end made me smile. The first page made me laugh, I just knew what that was going to be LOL

The first page made me laugh too but the part where:

InuYasha has the twins fondling his ears and Miroku's answer to his request plus InuYasha sending the twins to «slay the kitsune» was hilarious also.

But what I miss the most is the fact that:

We don't see them kiss each other!!! We saw Sango & Miroku's kiss but not IY & Kagome! WHY???? :sobs:

I hope the anime will remedy to that lacking fact! :D

The lack of doggy kisses was the first thing I said to my empty house... "WHY didn't they get to KISS?!?!?!?!" and then I felt very silly for screaming that at my computer.

The kiss was what I screamed about too. First I was like...why three years? Then...why isn't there any kissing going on? Last but not least...I yelled "And just what happened to Kouga?"

The three years was forgivable after I did some thinking on it. They had to both want to be together and at first, getting her back to her family who loved her and were obviously worried about her was first and foremost in both their minds. But three years? I think they both would be wanting to be with each other after like...a week...if that...

Anyway...the no kiss was annoying. Sure, all the hugging is cute but didn't he even kiss Kikyou before she died? I feel a little jipped...

Still...the lack of Kouga is totally unforgivable...it's not like he died or didn't want his revenge on Naraku too. He just disappeared. :doh:

I'm with you all! I wanted to see them kiss! That was the only downside; but I was happy that they were married, well by what Souta said! Sango and Miroku's kids were adorable! I loved how Kagome's all "Onii-san!" LMAO!

Yes, the M/S babies are cute. Those kids were talking pretty good...do the math they are probably 18 months to 2 years old. Miroku did not waste time. Did you catch that he has TWIN girls? If that ain't karma biting him in the...ankle?! :) The whole attitude of the son's birth was cute too. It's his third, then Oh...It's born. It looked like to me that a tear drop activated the well, maybe I was seeing things.
The whole Onii-san thing was a hoot. InuYasha doesn't like acknowledging Seshoumaru and the feeling is mutual. Kagome saying that, I'm sure neither liked the fact that now she's related to them both.
One happy thought I have is that I will be able to get this volume as soon as it's released. So no long wait there., and should be able to see the anime on TV. Hopefully, my Japanese will be better then. 1 month from today I move to Japan.

I think Takahashi sensei should rename the manga to Sesshoumaru!:kiss:
I discovered Inuyasha last summer. My friend had been trying to get me to watch the anime, however it did not seem to interesting so I kept putting off watching it. Last year she told me that she was in love with manga character called Sesshoumaru. I decided to check the manga out, because I could not understand how anyone could be in love a manga character. {Boy was I wrong.} Just took one chapter with Sesshoumaru in it and I was insnared.
I read the entire manga once, however I lost count of how many times I have chapters with Sesshoumaru in it.:kiss:

I was both happy and sad that Inuyasha was ending. I read the last chapter, the ending was not bad, I felt that I could have been better. I wanted to have some of the questions about the swords answered as well as having conclusions for the sub plots.
All well I guess it could have been worse. I would have hated to have an ending similar to Ranma.
