This is SnowEmpress, I named this topic Frozen illusions, (cause it's like a mirror made of Ice). But some times water enhances some ones intuition, either it be creativitity or an gift from by the soul.

Written or drawn, your passions inspire what is created..
The part that is the illusion can be shaped from within, and re-created in the outer wrold {like Ice}.. if the project is small or large..the glass like surface, can reflect what truely lies in some ones potecial.

I hope this topic does make some sense.. ^^

In this post, it's to show a little bit of what my works is about. Even though I'm in the profession is a character concept artist, & also help in as a game designer.
I work with creating items and weapons, and some ideas for level design..
The game right now is almost complete, however it's going through a another company contract.
So I can't let out a lot of info at the moment..

But I'll show one of the dark character, that'll be used in the game. I sketched this picture with a Wacom tablet, and also did a close up version in a sketch design.
However the last section of the picture is a ~character portrait~ done by my sister, she takes my designs and uses it for realism painting.
After the concept is accepted, I will re-create the character in a 3d model later on.
only for proper screeshots, as it gives better views in the character forms..

But in the coloured pic, her face and her look are so sweet and really contrast with her feline legs and arms !
Maybe, it's take part of the illusion that you talk about ?

Dearest Hmr1, I appriciate the comment you left. ^o^
For artworks that need adjustments all the time, I may have to do 5 extra drawings until my boss says a final about them.
Personly, I'm pleased with my sketches, and my sister helps flesh the vision of what I'm trying to create.
I can color as well, but not paint realism like my sister. ^__^
That's why we works together, I drawing creative styles, she takes them and creates a better promo visuals for the work we're into.

The words i've used before presenting the pic, was to reflect how I see imagination.
Even some one who can draw a bit, or even write & does music.. is a form great expression.
(That's what I'm trying to get across) ^^

That's why I suck at sentences, hehe..(in trying to get my point across, I think I fail in that area).. ^^;;

Whoa those character designs and the final coloured piece are amazing!! Well done on getting them into a game! I look forward to seeing more of your work in the near future. Both you and your sister are really talented! The hair kind of reminds me of Dark Aeon Shiva from Final Fantasy X (which is a good thing!) The feline features make her look really unique *thumbs up*

Dearest 21sacraments, Your reply is very thoughtful, I'm happy you liked the concept.
Yes she has a feline form added to her structure, but she is known as a rock elemental creature.
Her arms and legs are rock shards, simular to a hard crystal effect.
The Theme of her design is runic stones, simular to viking Runes.

The concept of her look is in the dark section, but who says dark entities shouldn't have a sense of style. ^o^

I saw a hair style on a girl once, (of course she had it styled professionaly). She had it in a way for her long hair to hold in a wraped style, to hold up very nice shard like designs on the sides of her hair.. I found it very beautiful.
(Plus I think with a lot of elf-like style, and dark ages design is becoming very popular).

So a lot of (metalics), leaf of stone like designs weaved in hair, is facinating to get into.
So yeah, I find many options worth a look, to make a theme seem better.
