I don't know how to feel about the ending to fruits basket
I love that kyo and tohru are together
but i don't like who yuki when with. I don't know why but i didn't want that. everyone else i liked, except Momiji (i felt bad).
what do you guys think...

Ah... it's been ages since I read this... from what I remember (I hope this is right XD)
Akito is a girl, none of the zodiac are cursed anymore, and she pairs up with shigure
Gah... please tell me if I'm wrong... I honestly don't remember much D:

Is shigure? I thought Akito pair up with the rooster zodiac(forget what the name already).... Shigure is the dog zodiac...

Yeah, I'm not to sure, but Shigure and Akito have a thing going on secretly. Since no one else knows she's a girl except the older zodiacs. Oh yes, and in the end she also dresses up like a girl too ^^

Um I think the rooster guy ended up with Tohru's yankee friend. Because earlier in the series she meets him and is attracted to him because he reminds her of Tohru. And he actually admitted that he wanted to see her too but was stuck on Akira.

Personally I loved the pairings. I especially liked Kyou's father figure with Tohru's psychic friend. That was classic and how she fell for him like instantly. And kept teasing Kyou about it. I thought that was just the best one yet.

Oy I need to learn names -_- I can't just keep referring people as "so and so's friend". Lol but I think people will get the general idea of what I'm saying.

Not sure why things have to be put in spoiler tags, the entire thread is a spoiler, isn't it? It's about the ending...people shouldn't be stepping into the thread if they don't want to know.

Anyway, personally I loved the ending couples. That would be Saki Hanajima and Shishou (Kazuma) you are referring to as 'so and so' Strange as they are, I think they really work...much to Kyou's chigrin. Shishou is a very open and caring person who has accepted Kyou and the rest of the zodiac for who they were, providing a loving environment for not only Kyou, but the rest of them as well. I truly believe that he was a strong catalyst for some of the early strain on the curse prior to Tohru's arrival. His home was Kyou's home--the CATS home--and it became a place of refuge for several of the other zodiacs in their childhood and beyond....anyway...before I go off topic...

Saki fell in love with him at first sight. All of the Sohma are beautiful, but the waves of Kazuma had to have been pretty amazing for Saki. If anyone could accept and support the strange powers she held, it would be Kazuma. She's very motherly and lord knows the man needs someone to take care of him and watch over him. They are one of my favorite pairings in the series...twenty year age difference or not.
