Persona 3

Ou Em Gee i cannot BELIEEEEEEEEEVE there isn't a Persona 3 topic! this makes me cry. T__T <-- like this, see?

I recently recieved this game in the mail from amazon! i am totally addicted~ i also bought the guide to the game and found it useless. where i am in the game, the guide says i should be on Tartarus' 40th floor...and i am TOTALLY NOT. D:

i think it's really funny when i choose to go to the restroom. *toilet flushes, sound of washing hands* my friend and i laugh every time. xD;

i don't really get how it's rated M. i thought a game would have to be graphic, gory, foul-mouthed....but Persona 3 is none of those. :| when you use the all-out attack thing, it doesn't even show anything, it looks like it came out of a comic book for jeebus sake! i would have thought this game would be rated Teen or SOMETHING. i've never seen this kind of game rated M.....maybe it's just because of the way the Persona's are summoned. who knows. bleh.

Haven't finished the game yet but I think I've played enough to give my opinion. I enjoyed the battle system and the plot. What I like most in the Shin Megami Tensei series is the dark atmosphere. However, in Persona 3 this atmosphere is often broken by funny lines or scenes. That's what make this new game a bit different from the previous ones.

Now, I have a question: how in the world can they go to Tartarus at midnight every week day and yet stay awake to listen to their teacher in the next morning? I need to find out their secret because even when I go to bed early I still feel sleepy during classes...

Persona 3 is about $80 on amazon. It might be a good game, but that's a little steep for a PS2 game.

I'm already halfway through the game and guess what? I've already clocked in 52 hrs. OMG.

Even if they go to Tartarus at night and you fight till you're tired, you're still tired the next day.

Can someone tell me how good this game is? I like to know how good a game is before I start playing so that I don't waste money on crappy games that only looks good.

This game at the beginning are Sloooowly.... the animation are 9/10, very incredible, the RPG system like's, but Half hour only spoken!!!, i prefer the megami tensei(Persona) of the PSX, doesn't talk much... but i like the Summoning Spirit, and the Great history.... 8/10.... be careful all and see later...

I bought mine from an electronics store last summer. :3 I got obsessed with it really quickly - I like going through individual days with an actual solid timeline. I'm on my second playthrough, but then again, I took the sucker's way out the first time, since I was behind on Tartarus.

It's rated M mostly because of the Evokers and how they're used, I'd think, in addition to the swearing and sexual references.

I found that I learned a good deal about the way the Japanese school year works, too. I feel lucky compared to them in terms of summer break. XD

hmm isnt there a Persona 3 FES coming out soon that is an add on chapter to the original game? how many of u r gonna get the game or download it

I will get persona fes this april 2008. I would not miss it because there's a chance that atlus would release persona fes in limited number so that's why the price is only $30 unlike previous persona 3.
The game seems to be attractive many gamers. I hardly find persona 3 in any game stores. But luckly atlus announced that they're going to release fes^^

That is a great game. You don't just get to wandering around, destroying your enemies to gain level, you have to care for your social interacting as well. Actually, this social interacting is the hardest part of the game, but you need it to fuse more powerful persona and unlock the most powerful for each clan.

The story is ok, it's just that you never get a chance o hear your hero speaking.

i have not managed to finish it yet, maybe I have to way for my next break. It was a really time consuming game.

I'm so glad that this game FINALLY came out in AUS. Geez, it's been like 2 years, lol. I love this game, currently on the Strength/Fortune full moon. I just love how they manage to integrate real-life with the dark hour.
