I've recently been interested in reading manga that takes place in high school settings, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some that you would recommend? I've enjoyed series like Ouran, Aishiteruze Baby, and Kare Kano. Thanks in advance. :D

well...this is just what I remember now...

Fruits Basket (23 vols and a lot of it revolves around the highschool lives of the sohma's: yuki, kyo, haru, momiji)
High School Girls (I think there are 3 vols...but I'm really not sure)
Good Morning Call...11 vols, I think (very sweet manga)

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei hasn't been mentioned...volume one and volume 9 are scanlated, don't know what happened to the other volumes. the anime series is up to episode 5 by a.f.k with episode 6 by [Bure]. hilarious series. never fails to make me laugh. :3

i would highly recommend Special A manga! it's so sweet and funny. the series is still ongoing though.

There are alots of high school manga. try worst although it wont be romance but its kinda good and full of action. also there is moe kare and kare 1st love which is a great series. ahehehee

Some of my favorites are high school manga! Here's some I LOVE: Sensual Phrase (aka: Kaikan Phrase), Bitter Virgin, Mysterious Girlfriend X, Peach Girl, Karin, Hana Kimi, Absolute Boyfriend, Mars, and Ayashi no Ceres. There's soo many more :)
