I seen "thanks" and "thanked:" in the user info and was wondering how you would thank someone....also...my signature isn't showing on posts even though I have it set to attach to all posts...how do I fix it?

Okay, the "Thanks" fuction is only available in certain forums and should be used to do just what it says: to say thank you to someone for doing something or saying something that you find helpful or that you just agree with. (You can also use the Reputation button, but this has certain drawbacks, like you can only rep a certain user once per five times you hit the rep button). The Rep button can be found at the bottom of the postbit (the bar where your avatar is displayed) and looks like a weight measure/scale. Click on that to add to the user's reputation.

If you just want to say thanks, like in the downloads forums, just click the "Thanks" button under a post. This feature was installed so that you can say thanks to someone if you use their download link so that you don't have to post something that says "thank you". By doing so, you're adding to that person's reputation, as well.

As for your signature, try this:

The way this board is set up, you do not need to use the [ IMG] tags to load your image from your server (like Photobucket). Just look on the bar above the box where you enter your signature (the text editing box) and click on the yellow square (if you hover your pointer over it, it should say Insert Image). Enter the url without the [ IMG] tags in there and click Preview. Enter the rest of your signature into the text editor and click Save Signature. If you do this, IGNORE the box below that says "Upload from your machine" etc.

After you do that, check your posts to see if the signature shows up. *You may have to hold down CTRL and hit REFRESH to reload the page* If not, try posting once to see if your sig is working. If not, let us know, and we'll look into it further.
